Technically an Irish Red Ale. In America Red Ales and Amber Ales overlap. Most “American Ambers” have a distinct hop aroma. Chunky Gal focuses on the malt profile. A beautiful coppery/amber color. A nice balance between malt and hops but leaning towards the malt. Lots of Crystal malts give notes of caramel. This is an easy drinking beer with initial malt/sweetness and a roasted dryness in the finish.
A great beer for the beginner craft drinker. Light gold with moderate malt and very low hop profile. We add a touch of Honey Malt to balance the malt with a little sweetness.
A Robust Porter, dark brown with rich Chocolate/Coffee flavors. Also notes of Caramel and Toffee. Very low hop profile.
American IPA with lots of floral citrusy hops. Grapefruit, Orange and Pine are very strong up front with a heavy bitter finish. Light Golden color. Very low malt profile.
An American Pale Ale. Refreshing and very hoppy with notes of citrus and a clean bitter finish. Just enough malt character to compliment the hops.
This is a high gravity version of our Chunky Gal Amber. A beautiful reddish color. A high alcohol Malty Sweetness with notes of Caramel.
Session IPA’s have a low alcohol level and a strong floral hop aroma. There are no bittering hops added during the start of the boil as in a normal IPA. All of the hops are added near the end or even after the end of the boil. This gives the beer a strong hop aroma without the strong bitterness. Our session IPA is hopped with: Zythos Horizon Bravo Sorachi Ace
This ESB has a fairly even balance between Malt and Hops. Drinkability is key. Deep Copper in color with a caramel malt sweetness and a clean bitter finish. A very drinkable ale with emphasis on bittering hops as opposed to late addition aroma hops used in American Pales. This is a broad style that allows for considerable interpretation by the brewer.
.This is a malty, complex Belgian Ale. It starts of with a rich creamy head. Sweet maltiness with notes of Caramel, Chocolate, Raisin and Spices. The finish is slightly dry and the high alcohol level is barely noticeable. Very low hop aroma lets all the complex flavors really shine.
A traditional German Pilsner using almost all Pilsen Malt with a touch of Vienna Malt. Crisp and Bitter with a dry finish. Straw colored with a creamy white head. Hops are Tettnang & Perle. A clean and refreshing beer for Spring. Recommend this to anyone who drinks American Lagers (Bud, Miller, Coors).
